The Price Of Dope is one of San Diego's hottest funk & jazz instrumental groups on the club circuit. Originally formed in 1995 as a trio and then expanded to a quintet in 1996, the band's members have changed since the release of their first album, The Price Of Dope, but they are constantly evolving.

The new Price Of Dope lineup is full of life and has gone back to the idea of playing music for fun & making people get on the floor and dance.
